One of the subtle sins that can plague Christians is that of pride. It’s a dangerous temptation that can push people away and inflict harm. Christians can struggle with self righteousness, correct doctrine that leads to legalism and pride around achievements. Pride creeps in when one’s relationship with the Lord begins to drift, become stale or even nonexistent. Jesus cautions us to remain humble, remembering that it is by grace we have been saved.
